Expanding Perceptions

""We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are."
- Anais Nin -

Expanding Perception – Makes a World of Difference creates an interactive environment where participants can learn and apply tangible, practical skills that will expand individual and organizational perceptions. The World of Difference workshop is based on five critical areas: Trust, Communication, Diversity, Beliefs and Flexibility. By applying these strategies leaders are able to focus on developing the best talent within their organization, free from issues of difference.

Course Content: Expanding Perception – Makes a World of Difference is designed to instill specific communication skills, expand perceptions, adopt winning belief systems and create a diverse, successful environment. This is achieved through the use of proven experiential learning techniques and initiatives that naturally create a spirit of camaraderie and fun.

  • Creating a safe environment for open communication
  • The gift of listening - honor others with your full attention
  • Integrity in communication
  • Diversity is an organizations greatest strength
  • Identifying individual & organizational belief systems
  • References - the driving force behind beliefs
  • Flexibility is power - strategies for adapting to change

L.E.A.D. did a diversity session for us for some of the senior leaders here in Connecticut. One comment written on an evaluation articulated the impact of the training: "We need more than just an education on diversity. We need to be inspired to actually change. That's exactly what this program did for me."
